About Me

Embracing a multidisciplinary approach to education, I delve into diverse fields including engineering, biology, food science, sustainability, and chemistry, fostering a holistic understanding of our interconnected world and enriching my research pursuits. Committed to academic excellence, I'm currently a diligent student at the University of Florida, where I'm working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering with a focus on Biosystems Engineering. On my free time, I love doing yoga and trying new restaurants.

Research Endeavors

Since August 2023, I have actively engaged in undergraduate and graduate research focusing on urban water resources, where I contribute to ongoing projects and participate in weekly lab meetings. Working closely with Dr. Eban Bean in the Urban Water Resources Research Group has been an invaluable experience, enhancing my knowledge and technical proficiency in the field. As of this semester, I've transitioned into an official role as an undergraduate researcher, where I'll be investigating soil development in infiltration basins.

Involvement

Beyond my academic commitments, I actively participate in a range of extracurricular activities, further enhancing my collegiate experience. As the STEM Chair of UF's engineering sorority, Phi Sigma Rho, I aim to promote STEM awareness and engagement within the sorority and the broader community via service. Furthermore, I dedicate time to mentoring the local FRC Robotics Team, Roaring Riptide (Team 4118), where I share my expertise and passion for engineering with aspiring young minds. Additionally, in Fall 2023 I was an intern at UF's Field and Forks Farm and Gardens, where I led student tours and implemented sustainable agricultural practices for irrigation, pest control, composting, and crop planning. All of the food harvested was donated to the campus food pantry.
